Both run Linux well if you don't mind nvidia blob in the kernel but
nvidia has dual-channel dvi in the dock so hello 2600x1500 monitors.
Intel is single channel so it's limited to 1920x1200.

Just my 2c.

P.S. get an UXGA IPS T60p, rip the motherboard off some 14" T60 into it
and be very happy.
