Righto, thanks Marius - I'll stop trying to boil the ocean then. (Would the
same be true with a USB video adapter like the DisplayLink? Is it a
different situation with the Nvidia hardware? I'm probably going to upgrade
this machine before I go away anyway, so it'd be good to know what to get
next. Been looking at the Asus UX301 - I'd miss the thinkpad keyboard and
general build quality, but 2,560x1,440 resolution is hard to go past.)
FWIW - the ipad lcd makes a very nice extra monitor.
