Hey,

  I'm having a problem where the external battery is not being detected
when I plug it into my laptop. When I unplug it, I can see an expected

  ACPI: \_SB_.PCI0.LPC_.EC__.BAT1: undocking

in dmesg output, but there is no

  ACPI: \_SB_.PCI0.LPC_.EC__.BAT1: undocking
  ACPI: Battery Slot [BAT1] (battery present)

after I reconnect it, unless I also reconnect the power adapter. When I
do that the battery is detected most of the time [1] and I can see the
forementioned dmesg entries.

Any idea what can I do with it? My BIOS version is 2.22, and the latest
seems to be 2.25 - I'll be updating it later this week, and see if that
helps.

[1] but not always it seems, sometimes I have to replug the AC power few
times for it to work.
