[ltp] X200s Ubuntu 14.04 skype micro problems

Hi

using a X200s with Ununtu14.04 (32bit) and skype 4.3.0.27, the speakers
seem to work, I can listen but the micro seems not to work.

I googled around and pluseaudio might be the culprit, but still the
micro does not work. How can I check the micro independently from skype?
if it works, anybody knows a to enable the micro for that skype version?
