[ltp] TP600e CDROM with VMWare

David,

Have you tried giving VMWare /dev/hdb rather than /dev/cdrom ? My cd-ROM on
my TP 770Z is the slave device on the primary IDE and SuSE 6.1 kernel 2.2.7
sees it as /dev/hdb. That is how it is set up in fstab with a mount point of
/cdrom. SuSE 6.1 install did those things for me.
