Xfree + 700

I have a Thinkpad 700 (that's it, plain 700), and just can not get X to
work. I've looked at some suggested XF86Config files, but to no avail (as
well as trying to get my own to run). I got RedHat 6 installed without any
problems at all, detects the graphics adapter no problem. However, when I
launch X it comes up, but with something that looks like a wave going across
the screen, and it never comes up. It doesn't lock it up, ctrl-backspace
works to get me out of it.

Anyone got a 770 with X working, I'd love to take a peek at your XF86Config
(I'm assuming the Xfree that comes with RH6 works out of the box....please
indicate if I am wrong, and need a patch).

Cheers,

Thomas
