configuring the cpu to run 'hot' on battery power

it looks like my 770Z came configured to run slowly on battery power
(100 bogomips on a battery, 362 bogomips on AC). i have PS2.EXE
on a dos floppy and tried the obvious command ("ps2 speedup fixed max dc",
i think) but it seemed to have no effect.

does anyone know (off the top of their heads) what i must utter to
PS2.EXE to let the cpu run at 366MHz on battery power?

anyone else have this problem?
