| I have just installed 64M RAM to my TP600, so I guess I also need to add
| append="mem=128M". Am I right ?
|
| Or there is some kind of memory reserved by system or whatsoever so that I
| need to put in a different memory value.

When you turn on your Thinkpad, it should tell you how much memory
you have, in K. Use that. On a 770, it would be 576K less than your
total memory; it's probably the same on a 600. For example, 128M =
131072K, so a 770 would print 130496K while booting, and you'd put
append="mem=130496K" in lilo.conf.
