[ltp] Installing Java 1.3 on OpenLinux 2.3

All:

Due to a project my employer wishes to explore, I have to upgrade the
Java on my development system.

Is this as simple as removing the 'old' java and Kaffee programs and
then installing the new java which is what I did to install 1.1.8 in the
past?
