Dear All,

I did try an earlier "internal" version of the MWave driver on my TP 770Z.
Unfortunately it didn't work: all seems to go okay until the last step,
the driver is loaded, the mwave utility program runs and load dsp software,
the driver attaches to a serial port. And then...nothing. I tried using
minicom to send the modem some AT commands but really nothing happens.
I am running RedHat 6.0 kernel 2.2.10 though. I had to tweak the mwavedd.o
module to load smoothly with my kernel (tweaking here means using Emacs to
change the version recorded in binary the file from 2.2.16 to 2.2.10).
I might give the officially published driver another try.

Good luck,

Geert
