One more question,

I noticed that when I start the laptop with the battery on and 
no line power, if I do

cat /proc/cpuinfo

I get that the CPU speed is 75MHZ, then if I connect the power
again the speed of the CPU doesn't change.

But if I boot the machine with the line power connected,
the cat /proc/cpuinfo tells me that the cpu is running at
300MHZ which is what it should be....is that the
expected behaivor....
