[ltp] modem recommendations

I want to get a pcmcia slot modem for my laptop 600E....suggestions please for a
modem that will be relatively trouble free for installation and config.

FYI, I run Slack 4.0 with 2.2.6 kernel.

Price not much of an issue, but availability, I live in Shanghai China, so will
expect mostly only big brand names on market.
