Hi everybody,

I do receive my Thinkpad i1467 next week (if IBM keeps the delivery
date) and I wondered what I have to be aware of before installing linux
on it.

I'm an experienced Linux user but only on workstations and servers but
not on any mobile machines. Is there anything I should definitely
do/load/install or more important NOT do/install/run?

I will have to repartition the drive to make space for Linux and still
be able to run Win98 (my family needs that to use the notebook, I
won't!)

Anyone actually running Linux on an i1467 ?

Thanks for any pointers
Jocki
PS: I just saw that Xfree86 3.3.6 supports the ATI Rage Mobile chipset
just in time for my purchase, although it looks as if it's not
    accelerated yet.
