[ltp] APM suspend hangs on T21 (10% of the time)

For reference, I use an A21m, with 2.4.8 and X4.1, framebuffer console.
In my BIOS I had previously set "suspend" to really hibernate, so when I issue
'apm --suspend' I get the IBM writing-to-disk screen and it powers down. When
I came back, however, my vt's were gone and X restarted.

I could change this back in my BIOS and probably get suspend to work, but I'm
most interested in hibernate. How do other people use hibernation, and do you
have any recommendations?

Thanks,
