Hi,

it seems like recent kernels (2.4.19-preX) include support for a framebuffer
console on older Trident chips like the Cyber9388 and Cyber9320.

This could be a great feature for some TP 760 users since the VESA framebuffer
is not supported on those machines due to lack of VESA 2.0 compatibility and
using a text console in a small 640x480 window on a 800x600 or even 1024x768
LCD is not very exciting. Unfortunately, the Cyber9385 is not supported yet
but this will be fixed in the future.

Tino
