hello all,

i have a thinkpad 770 on Mandrake 8.2 (2.4.18-16mdk kernel=20
customized with win4lin and preempt patches). sound works
fine (cs4232 and opl3 modules loaded and working in both
windows [under win4lin] and linux).

the notebook has a microphone jack, so clearly it can=20
record sound... but i can't find what modules should be
loaded for that. =20

windows 98 (running under win4lin... used when i develop=20
windows clients to linux servers) detects and uses the
sound card. but it doesn't see a recording device.

can anyone point me at the right drivers that will let me
record sound from the microphone jack? or the built-in
mic. =20

thanks for any assistance.
