i have a tp-600e and am running rh-7.3; i have no
"windows" software installed.

is there any way to configure (i.e. disable)  the
infrared ports with software running under linux?
using wine?

is the built-in modem (presumably ttyS1) shared with
an infrared port as well as the serial port (ttyS0)?

i can't get either to work.
