[ltp] 600E's screen turns on red, then goes really dark

Either the inverter(can be replaced by itself) or the backlight(a new LCD
panel). eBay would be the best bet. IBM still makes the parts but as with
any IBM replacement part you are paying a premium price. If you happen know
someone who works in a tech shop that services IBM machines you could ask
them to order it(probably cost+10%&shipping, most tech shops will do this
for their employees) for you.

Power management presets. Each time you press it sets it to either
low/med/high/custom(I think).
