I'm running SuSE 9.0 Professional on my IBM TP 600E and would like to
install the tpctl utility so that I might disable the IR port and enable
modem support. I went to the tpctl home, but there is no mention of SuSE,
only Debian and Redhat. Has anyone done this and can maybe give me some
pointers? This is my first install of Linux on a laptop, so I'm fairly new
to the process. Also, once installed, what command do I need to issue in
order to turn off IR support?
Thanks
