[ltp] T30 Wireless

I have a 236652U with a builtin "IBM High Rate Wireless LAN Mini-PCI". In W2K
the configuration dialog indicates it is an Intel device but this page:

which is about the exact same model (236692U just comes with XP vs. W2K)
suggests it is a "Prism" or "Orinoco" device. Can anyone confirm that the HostAP
or wlan-ng driver is what I need?

If so I would also like to know if the HostAP driver includes the functionality of the
wlan-ng driver. Or is HostAP just for turning a host into an access point?
