Thanks a lot to everybody! (gracies Ramon!)

I never thought it will be so easy: just created a hidden FAT16 (primary) 
partition, made a save2dsk.bin file in it, reboot, and ...tada! I can now 
hibernate. (I tried before in an existing FAT32 partition and it didn't work, 
maybe it really needs to be FAT16?).

Now anybody willing to solve my second problem, why I cannot logout from KDE 
withouth freezing the screen?  ;-)
