It works on FAT32 just fine.  I converted /dev/hda1 from NTFS to FAT32
with Partition Magic, and then created save2dsk.bin (286179328 byte file
for 256 MB RAM + 16 MB video memory) by booting from an IBM floppy image
burned into a CD-R.  This is a T23, and I use a 2.4 kernel with APM but
no ACPI.

I seem to remember people talking about similair problems on this list,
but I wasn't paying attention -- T23 has a S3 graphics card, and not a
Radeon everyone else seem to have those problems with.  On the downside,
I do not get 3D acceleration...
