[ltp] 5400 RPM hard drives?

I once examined the power ratings of the 40GB 5400rpm vs 4200rpm from 
IBM website when I was considering the upgrade from 20GB 4200rpm.  I 
found the power ratings were roughly proportional to rpm i.e. about 
9:7.  I am frequently on battery power and it's an issue to me.
