[ltp] suse9 on a T21 thinkpad: mouse /typing delays of 1 seconds

many thanks. What I did (and it works now fine):

I set in /etc/sysconfig/kernel two parameters:
SCHED_MINTIMESLICE="1000"
SCHED_MAXTIMESLICE="30000"

and in the grub-config 

acpi=off 

and

"desktop" was deleted  by me.
