[ltp] LCD shuts off...can't get it back on

Simple problem, and sorry to bother everyone, but...

My R32 shuts off its LCD screen after a few minutes and there's nothing
I can do to get it back on.  Mouse, trackpoint and keyboard input don't
help.  Fn-F3, Fn-F4, etc. don't help either.

I can SSH into the machine, and it is not suspended or hibernating.  Is
there a command line that I can run to turn the LCD back on?  I remember
someone posting something like this and I've searched through the
archives but couldn't find it.  tpctl doesn't seem to have that option
and I never did get tpb or configure-thinkpad working...
