[ltp] 600E and 2.6.1...

I've compiled the 2.6.1 kernel with the pre 5.0 thinkpad module under a
debian testing, following the instruction of Thomas.

I've encountered some problems:

1) frame buffer seems not working:

kernel seems recognize it, as you can see, but the sceen remain in the
default resolution, seems 640x480, ugly font, ... some code changed for
framebuffer in 2.6?!


2) thinkpad modules does not autoload, clearly:

clearly /etc/modutils/thinkpad is the standard one, installed by
package, and correctly processed by update-modules


3) some problem with audio, lspci say me:

but compiling the kernel driver (pci, CS4610/11) as a module say me
inserting:

Two more, as a question:

Mean what?!

is is safe/make sense to enable acpi on such system?!
