[ltp] Touchpad not working (T41p), please help me

Well, I also have a T40p and am running 2.6.2-rc2-mm1. When running on
acpi (without NO other changes to my .config) the synaptics touchpad
works like a charme. But when I use an apm enabled kernel the touchpad
simply gets not recognized.
-> So are you maybe running apm or does anybody else has not this
behaviour with apm+synaptics? (btw the synaptics kernel driver should
be includes in the CONFIG_MOUSE_PS2 option.
