[ltp] pre-installation advice?

If you're using ntfsresize, as supplied by SuSE, there's an advantage in 
doing it before files start to clutter up the space beyond the directory 
and system files.  No need to do it before running XP, but ntfsresize, as I 
understand it, can only shrink it by the empty space at the end of the 
partition.  In fact, you probably want to make certain XP is running 
normally, and defragment, before shrinking.  After shrinking the NTFS 
partition, you can go back to Windows and create a FAT32 partition for data 
sharing, before installing linux.  In my experience, SuSE 9.1 doesn't allow 
execution of files on the FAT partition, so its use is somewhat more 
limited than it used to be.
