After I shut my T40 down with "echo 4 > /proc/acpi/sleep" my system
won't boot with the resume partition anymore. The kernel founds the
resume signature, reads it and locks up. I thought that it needs a bit
more time to resume, but powered the notebook off, after 15mins and now
i'm using the 2.4 kernel with apm.=20

I googled a bit and looked at the acpi homepage, but can't find anything
related how to remove the signature or the resume image. Does someone
has an idea about?

Thanks and Greetings,
