What version of XFree are you using? Mdk 10 shipped first with a 4.4.0
RC1 that was unstable, then backported it to the last 4.3 stable
series...
I'm using Mdk 10.1 (cooker unstable) with XFree 4.3.0.1, completely
stable. (A31p with Radeon 7800)
