[ltp] PCMCIA and the TP 770

I run Gentoo Linux on my TP 770. Whenever it starts PCMCIA services, it says 
that it is only watching 1 socket (socket 0). If I stick a card in Socket 1, 
nothing happens (except the power light blinks briefly). I have to restart 
PCMCIA services a few times (usually only once) before it says "Watching 2 
sockets" and will do something when I stick something in socket 1. Does anyone 
else have this problem?
