I never saw this on my previous Debian on Toshiba system. OTOH, I
never ran 2.6.8.1 on it either, so I'm not blaming my Thinkpad :-)
hephaistos:~$ pterm
/dev/ptmx: open: Input/output error
hephaistos:~$ xterm
xterm: Error 32, errno 2: No such file or directory
Reason: get_pty: not enough ptys
This happens after the machine has been running for a day or two.
Any thoughts?
