Hi All,

Thanks Sushino for this link! I myself (owner of an R50) have been following
the fan-discussion for some time now, am very very deeply disappointed by
this policy of IBM. I must say, saying those models "work as desgined" while
blowing out cold air really is the last straw that breaks the camel's back!
Obviously it's a design problem which cannot be fixed unless exchanging a
number of parts on the affected models which would be very expensive for IBM.
Nevertheless this policy might become very expensive for them as well.
BTW: It really surprised me that the R51 also has this problem although the
problem was well known to IBM when they released it - again: very poor
policy.
Let's continue to work on that WIKI (see: "R40 - mainboard
replacement"-Thread) the publicity might not help us anymore but might secure
consumers' information and hence improve IBM's quality rules.

Greetings
Nils
