Dear list,

I'm struggling to make my USB devices work in USB2 but no luck until
now :-( I'm using ehci-hcd and a 2.6.11 kernel with an Apacer USB key
or a Samsung Yepp ogg player. I always get these messages :
usb 1-3: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 11
usb 1-3: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 44
usb 1-3: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 50
usb 1-3: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 90
usb 1-3: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 94
usb 1-3: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 104
usb 1-3: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 108
usb 1-3: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 36
And sometimes, I see this : device descriptor read/64, error -71

- Both devices produce the same type of errors. =20
- They work fine with uhci-hcd (USB1) but at lower speeds btw.
- I upgraded my BIOS but nothing improved.
- I'm not using CONFIG_BLK_DEV_UB so it has nothing to do with
http://kerneltrap.org/node/4973.
- I haven't found an USB entry in the ThinkWiki...

Google didn't help me, so what do you think is happening ??

Thanks!,
