I see only 
# cat /proc/acpi/ibm/driver
driver:         IBM ThinkPad ACPI Extras
version:        0.10 

I have updatet my kernel to vers. 2.6.11.4.-21.8 and tried to install ibm-acpi.
No results. 
Furthermore in the Linux Kernel Configuration there is <*> IBM ThinkPad Laptop Extras, is that okay?
 In the end of the configuration must I Execute "make" to build the kernel, is that necessary?
