Hey Y'all,

I've had a terrible time finding answers to two of my recent questions, cou=
ld=20
you lend a hand? I run SuSE 9.1 (2.4 series kernel that originally shipped=
=20
with the distro) on a T40 with KDE 3.2.

=46irst, I use Deadkeys for my Spanish class, which works fine in all of my=
=20
applications except Konqueror. I use any punctuation mark that can be used =
to=20
form a character ( " ' ` ~ ) Konqueror locks up (ala Internet Explorer: no=
=20
explanation, nothing I can do about it, etc...). I ran SuSE Update and it d=
id=20
update KDE core files, I think, but nothing for Konqueror and the problem i=
s=20
unchanged. Any ideas?

Second, I have spent months looking for a tutorial on the setup of either I=
rDA=20
or, even better, LIRC, but I cannot find one that has worked for me. Has=20
anyone gotten these to work on the T40, how?

Sorry about the questions in bulk.
Thanks for any ideas!
