In my ibm-acpi scripts I want to lower the brightness of the LCD just like pressing Fn+End when the AC power goes off and resume full brightness when AC is reinserted. I know which events to capture with ibm-acpi but I do not know what action to perform to minimize/maximize the brightness. Debian sid, T40. TIA, Bob
