Michele (and other friends helping on this),
used the pristine radeon_pm.c file and patched without problems.

With the new kernel I do not see the kern.log entries you talk about.

What I see (below) is puzzling. A bit long and my questions interspersed 
amongst the kern.log lines.

After you see this I will do more drainage calculations !
