So far my experiences are quite good! ;-) Tell me what you find.=20
Especially if you use 2.6.11.2 as I used a stock 2.6.11. I will download=20
the 2.6.11.2 or later next week when I have broadband internet access=20
again.

I recommend cpu frequency scaling ;-). Just "apt-get install=20
powernowd" (well I described it in that ThinkPad Wiki).

Next thing would try wether the new on demand governor in kernel 2.6.11=20
could replace powernowd completely.
