[ltp] dual headache

The only thing that is still not perfect on my new X30 is the dual head set=
 up.

I can't get the resolution of the external screen to go above
1024x768. Setting it to 800x600 works but if I set it to 1280x1024 or
1600x1200 it falls back to 1020x768.

I'm not sure what parts of the log files are relevant, but one thing I
noticed is that my "built-in modes" (whatever that is) doesn't include
anything about 1024x768.

grep Built /var/log/Xorg.0.log
(**) I810(0): Built-in mode "1024x768"
(**) I810(0): Built-in mode "1024x600"
(**) I810(0): Built-in mode "800x600"
(**) I810(0): Built-in mode "640x480"
(**) I810(1): *Built-in mode "1024x768"

Here's the config for the external screen.

Section "Screen"
 Identifier "Default Screen"
Device "Intel Corporation 82830 CGC [Chipset Graphics Controller]"
 Monitor "Generic Monitor"
  DefaultDepth 16
  SubSection "Display"
   Depth 16
   #Modes "1024x768"
   #Modes "640x480" #funkar ger den uppl=F6sningen p=E5 CRT
Modes "1280x1024" #funkar men ger inte den uppl=F6sningen CRT
   #Modes "1600x1200" #funkar men ger inte den uppl=F6sningen CRT
  EndSubSection
EndSection

OS: Debian GNU/Linux

xorg version: 6.8.2.dfsg.1-8

kernel: 2.6.13.3
