Hey David,

Does your USB work after resume from sleep? That's the biggest current problem
I have on the X40; I have to restart the hotplug service after waking up. 

Right now I also have to use vbetool to restore my video after waking up, but I
did not have to do that before, so I think it's something I broke recently. 

I use Debian unstable with the stock 2.6.12 kernel, and at one time in the
past, I did not have either of the above problems. So for the OP I would say
that Debian works well on the X40 as long as you don't do whatever I did to
break it :).
