It's that time of year again... I'm looking at a new thinkpad.
Probably a z60m. Mainly for the display. Sadly, no dual core, but I
notice that the UH3FKUK comes with 1GB of memory. Looking at crucial
they say the standard is 256 or 512MB... So do the 1GB models come
with a single 1GB stick leaving a free slot? Or are they just 512MB
models with an extra 512MB module in there (That's what dabs.com says,
but anyone who has one may know differently)?

Also the DVD writer... Anyone know which model it is? Same as the r50p
(DVD-RAM with DVD-R/RW) or does this one do DVD+-R/RW? There doesn't
seem to be much info there on that subject.

Screen... Are they all Ti covers? Even the black ones (i.e. just Ti
with black paint), or are the black ones physically different?

Oh. Best price I've found so far is UK#1050. (Plus VAT). Anyone got a
better price? dabs.com are the same... ONly 1 year warrenty though
sadly. Might have to bump that up a bit.
