Mine does that too, even if I never even load lt_hotswap.  Been trying to
figure that out...  The battery_present flag disappears for a second and
then it comes back.  I think it's a bug in the ACPI code but I'm not sure -=

could you verify that even w/o lt_hotswap loaded, the battery still says
it's there when it's not, and also see whether that 'No context for object'
message shows up w/o loading the hotswap module?

That all looked normal (except for that no context message, anyway)... Can
you mount the DVD after that?

When I get back to the hotel tonight I'll throw some extra debugging stuff
in to try to figure out what happened the first time.
