I'll stick my $0.02 in.

I use DynamicClocks with my Radeon 7500 (T42), and X.org (6.8.something)
=66rom Ubuntu Breezy.

Previously (I think I used Ubuntu Hoary back then) X would freeze on
every second startup or so, with a black screen and no visible mouse
cursor. I had no problems whatosever with ACPI sleep/resume, and I only
rebooted once in a few months.

Lately I tried to reproduce these crashes on Breezy, but couldn't. I am
not complaining. ;-)
