I recently acquired a ThinkPad T20,
on which I am running Fedora-5 with KDE.
What is the simplest way to cut-and-paste on this machine?
What I do at present is:
1) highlight (with the mouse) the text I want to copy;
2) go to the Klipper icon in the panel,
and choose the item in question;
3) Use Shift-Insert to insert the text where required.
This works perfectly well;
but it seems unlikely that it is the simplest method.
With another computer, and Fedora-4,
the most recently highlighted item
was automatically chosed (ticked) by Klipper,
but this no longer seems the case.
Is this a Klipper setting?
Any advice or suggestions gratefully received.
