[ltp] BIOS Update via USB CD-ROM using ISO?

Has anyone successfully updated the BIOS using the Lenovo provided ISO with an 
external USB CD-ROM? Specifically on an X-series, but I would assume that if 
it worked on a T-series it would also work on an X. In the past, I have 
upgraded the BIOS using my own created ISO which used the floppy images (if I 
remember correctly) and was made bootable.

I ask because the README states that only the Ultrabay should be used with the 
Lenovo provided ISO images, and I am not sure if they did anything to them 
that would break USB support midway into the BIOS upgrade.
