[ltp] advice/comments on the T60

I have a T60 with Intel graphics.  I used to run Fedora Core on it,
but upgrades were a bit of a pain (particularly reinstalling the Intel
3945 ABG wireless drivers with each kernel update).  Also, I couldn't
get hibernation to work (though suspend to ram was OK).  I gave
openSUSE a shot and have been happy with it for almost two months.  I
don't have anything that doesn't work using stock Xorg.  I have a few
