I converted a dead T20 into an LCD photo frame. It's quite easy. Things
to bear in mind:

1)Remove the connectors very carefully - it's easy to pull the wires out
of them.

2)The screw covers are circles of black self-adhesive plastic. You can
re-use them if very careful - use a very small flat-bladed jeweller's
screwdriver to prise them off, then place them on their back.

3)Possible hazards: don't break the backlight (mercury gas); careful not
to get zapped by the inverter (high voltage).

4)Have an air-duster handy, and some LCD cleaning stuff. The best way to
clean an LCD is to buy a camera lens-cleaning kit.

5)Earth yourself. You don't have to go crazy about anti-static, but make
sure you do something. I find that working on a glass or wooden table,
avoiding nylon/wool clothes, and repeatedly grounding myself by touching
the metal case of an earthed appliance (eg a PC, or a toaster) is OK.

Good luck,

Richard
