[ltp] T61 with X3100 Video Card Problems Ubuntu

What version of xorg is Ubuntu 7.10 shipping?  I think the X3100 needs a
pretty recent version.  I have xserver-xorg-video-intel  2:2.2.0-1
from Debian unstable on my X61, and it works well.   You might try
upgrading.  Probably the Ubuntu forums can suggest the best way to get
the most recent xorg version; one option is to add the debian unstable
repositories to your /etc/apt/sources.list.
