[ltp] Excessive power draw on T61

My R61 with nV Quadro 140M draws about ~20W in idle. Temperature is just  
fine, I guess there's problem with nvidia drivers - they're incredibly  
buggy :((
Concerning this: I'm trying to get WSXGA+ (1680x1050) resolution with VESA  
driver on 140M - no luck :( Highest resolution I've been able to get was  
1280x1024. Is it even possible to get that resolution with VESA driver?
